Sanitation in Communion By James D. Orten & Alton B. Bailey This 45-page booklet presents a powerful defense of the one-cup communion practice, grounded in both scripture and science. Originally written by Alton B. Bailey and expanded by James D. Orten, it addresses misconceptions about disease transmission and reaffirms the biblical pattern established by Christ. Inside, you’ll find: • A thorough scriptural study of the Lord’s Supper • The unity and symbolism of the one cup • Historical insights into the rise of individual cups during the era of “germ hysteria” • Over a century of scientific research showing the safety of the common cup Perfect for personal study or discussions among brethren, this resource strengthens faith in God’s design for worship and offers confidence in following the example of Christ and His apostles.
